Our Treasure Hunt consisted of good, fun activities both skills based and brain based. The timing of the program was really good and finished when planned. The facilitators made the activities fun, they were well organised and preparations were made before we arrived. The prizes in the chest were also appropriate for our target audience Thanks again!

Everyone loved it! Such a good day and GREAT team building. Many of our staff were working together for the first time and it was really great to see the photos when we came in on Monday. Hilarious and something we could share with out national colleagues. Many of the comments included ‘They did it just perfectly, just the right amount of direction without being bossy, that’s not easy to do’. I would like to say a particularly large thank you to you guys for making it all happen at such short notice without compromise to the program. It was such a lifesaver for me. I have received fantastic feedback. Quite a few in the group mentioned it was much better than they expected. A couple said they were dreading it, but ended up having the best day. Everyone thought it was great. We had so much fun. It brought out a competitive side in a lot of people I never thought existed. Was a wonderful way to break the ice between team mates that haven’t really had much to do with each other. The feedback received by the participants regarding our Charity Bike Build was really positive. This is the second year we have engaged Total Team Building to organise a program for us. Compared to the one done last year, I have noticed that to add a charity activity was really a highlight and everybody was thankful about having the possibility of participating in it. Total Team Building were very professional through all aspects of organising (booking through to execution). The task was a bit left field which was great and the concept of donating the bikes to a children’s charity is a great way for us to contribute back to the community. To that end the senior managers and graduates were very impressed with the event. Both (coordination and facilitation) were terrific. Very prompt reply to emails, sometimes that little bit of extra effort goes a long way and is noticed by people (such as myself)! Katie had to help with a lot of additional work but was always pleasant and helpful to get it done (I doubt I would have been so) Darren was a great facilitator, he was engaging, professional and funny. Great job guys! Everyone had an awesome time and was really impressed and said it’s one of the best team building events that has been done (and we do a lot of team building events…)
Everyone really enjoyed themselves during our Charity Bike Build. Good challenges, allowed good participation within each small team, lots of creative thinking for the tasks such as pasta towers, and puzzle solving. The facilitation was great – lots of energy was injected into the afternoon. Good structure so people knew what they all had to do, clear instructions and it met the 2.5 hour timeframe that we had allowed for. Keep up the good work – thanks Jason.
Our “Health on the Run” was excellent, Great exercise and was at a level everyone could participate at. Total Team Buildings co-ordination and facilitation was fantastic. They had great interaction with the team and were entertaining. It was smooth running from the day we started planning the event. Total Team Building were helpful and organized and had everything planned to a T, including having a back-up plan if the weather wasn’t to go our way. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a fun, different way to plan a team building event that incorporates a little bit of friendly competition.
Our Win it in a Minute was very well managed, kept everyones attention for 3 hours and was surprisingly competitive! It was very well organized.. surprisingly well organized in fact. Jason & Kate kept such a large group entertained for such a long time. Very engaging. Huge thanks for making our day such a success! We are looking forward to the bike build at the end of the year !!

We all had a great time on our Scavenger Hunt and enjoyed ducking and diving one another out there and trying to get the better over the other teams. I think it was great that we did not know which event will count how many points and that left you wondering and planning and having to make decisions to later see if they were the correct ones! It was absolutely fantastic and we really can’t thank you enough. It was amazing how everyone banded together to achieve the outcomes. The little girls were a delight and I was so thankful that you were able to organise it. I think it left everyone a bit speechless!
We enjoyed it. One of our team members was super-enthusiastic and he got the rest of us organised. Some of the events put some of us outside of our comfort zone e.g. commentating the weightlifting, but most events were completed by my team members in the spirit of the competition. Most importantly it brought individuals together that wouldn’t normally be associated with one another and made us laugh, so from my perspective it was greatly successful. Just another huge thank you to Louisa and the Total Team gang, you were willing to work with us to fit into our very limited budget which as an NFP is really encouraging and meant that we were able to put on a great day for our staff who work so hard. The team loved it and I have received some great feedback. The team enjoyed being able to connect and have fun whilst all working remotely. It was the first time we were able to get out Field teams involved too, as everything is usually held in person, so it was a great program to hold to be inclusive of all of our staff. Went very smoothly! The flexibility to hold the events over several weeks, and to release them bit by bit was great.
We really enjoyed the day. It went really well, and students had a fabulous day. They are still talking about it. They were challenged and did activities they don’t get to do at school that had them problem solving within a group which allowed them to build stronger relationships with their peers. They had a clear outline for the day which allowed students to participate in all activities. A little extra time allocated to the last activity would help improve the day as many groups found this very challenging. They kept timers running and kept students informed for all the other challenges, which was great for keeping things on track. They were both great. They were encouraging of students, supported the groups that needed some extra support and challenged the teams that didn’t. They spoke clearly and expressed expectations and instructions well. They were able to build up a great rapport with the students and stayed upbeat throughout the day. Thank you for the day. We appreciate all the really fun activities you did with the students.

Hi Katie & Darren I would like to thank you very much for the wonderful afternoon my team and I had on Friday. We all enjoyed the Scavenger Hunt thoroughly and had a lot of fun and a pile of laughs. I have heard from many of my colleagues how much they enjoyed the challenges, and how great the outcome was, especially seeing the kids riding on their new bikes. The challenges provided great opportunities to encourage team building and to get to interact with and develop team relationships in a limited time. It was a well run and structured program that had an added benefit of delivering bikes to children in need. The coordination was well managed, and facilitated 8 different groups at various stages of different activities without hampering the progress of any team. I will keep you in mind and recommend you to our other functional teams in the future.

I would like to Thank you and Darren for organising the day, the team had absolutely a blast and it was real fun!! Lawn Bowls was a nice way of communicating and getting to know each other. We thought it was a good team building exercise that provided interaction with all team members. Our Win it in a Minute program was fast paced and upbeat. You could feel the energy in the room. There was the right balance of challenge/competitiveness and fun. The PowerPoint was professional and the music was a nice touch to the atmosphere.

Our Scavenger Hunt (for a Hens Day) was – Absolutely fantastic! It was something a little different from the usual hen day type of activities and was suited to all ages and abilities….so everyone could join in the day. The hunt was very well thought out and as far as I know all the teams found it easy to follow. The activities were fun and not too challenging, which was perfect. Katie is very friendly, approachable and great fun! She gave nothing but 100% customer service to me/us….during our emails before the day and also during the hunt, brilliant! Just a very big thank you for making Jess’ day so memorable. She commented that it was her fave part of the whole day that I had planned for her! A great day was had by all! I will definately be in touch again to book through Total Team Building in the future for similar events.

The Charity Bike Build was fantastic! The challenges the teams did were great & entertaining…but the main event was awesome! When the bikes were built and our franchisees realized these were for little kids who didn’t get a lot, the mood in the room changed. The facilitation was brilliant! Even with 1 weeks’ notice the event was run perfectly! Chad was awesome on the day – arrived early, responded great with our team, took charge & delivered a great lot of challenges! Well done! We were, still are, extremely happy that we chose Total Team Building and the activity that we did. Hats off to Chad, for facilitating so well!

This was a team with a lot of new people who are based across 2 locations – so the Charity Bike Build was a good way to introduce people to each other. The activities were accessible to all involved and they enjoyed them.
The coordination was seamless. Jason and I spoke a couple of times and all was arranged without a hitch. Jason is an excellent and experienced facilitator – and was able to pitch the activities at the right level. We had a fire drill in the middle and he was able to adapt quickly.
Great opportunity to be able to do something to give back to the community yet still have that team bonding environment.

With this particular group, we haven’t held activities that were more ‘fun’ and less work related. It was a great change and everyone had positive feedback about the Charity Bike Build program. We got to see more of the staff’s creative and competitive side come out.
On initial contact everyone was accommodating and flying your facilitator over from Sydney was really appreciated! Louisa you are lovely to deal with, very clear and not pushy!
The day itself was conducted well, once again – it didn’t feel rushed but the entire 2 hours was used well.

I thought the Scavenger Hunt program was well organized and offered variety of tasks and opportunities for teamwork. My team enjoyed the day and I think we all worked well together. The competitive edge added a level of impetus to the day. I was very impressed with the organization of the event with Katie maintaining contact in the lead up and answering any questions I had. The facilitation on the day was fantastic as Darren is an excellent communicator and showed flexibility on the day. His consideration of the older members of the team was appreciated. I and my team members had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Many team members suggested we should do this every six months and I believe that was due in large part to the way in which the event was organized and facilitated. I have learned a lot about myself and some members of my team through this experience and I thank you for your service.
The team really enjoyed The Vault and the activities. One of the best aspects of the program was that the group had to operate as one team rather than multiple competing against each other. The feedback/debriefing session at the end was also a very nice touch to the whole session. Everything was well organised and completely prepared for. The only hiccup came from our end with the meeting room not supporting the IPad. Darren was very well spoken, encouraging and very responsive to the team dynamic. Just a huge thanks to you and Darren for a wonderful afternoon!
Myself and all of the team participated in the Vault Event which allowed us all to interact and communicate openly with one another regardless of positions in the organization. It also allowed some of the less vocal members of the team to have their say and take part which is something we all gained from. But more than anything it provided us with the means to enjoy ourselves and have a laugh with no inhibitions of it being a work event.
The coordination and organization of the event, location, timing and lunch was all taken care of by Total Team Building as a package thus allowing me only one point of contact which made the day more pleasant and hassle free. Thanks to you both for making the day a great one.

The day went really well. Team games were well received and catered for a variety of different skills and abilities – there was something for everyone within the Survivor.
The program was coordinated well – the games weren’t too long or too short which helped to keep people engaged and participating. Equipment was in good order and rotations through the stations went smoothly.

The whole Adventure Quest program was wonderful and the communication was excellent in terms of getting everything setup and ready to go for the day. The co-ordination was wonderful. I didn’t have to think about a single thing as it was all taken care of for me! Basically the only task I had to do was send through the trivia questions and even that was made very easy for me. The app is great and the fact that I could get the images and videos taken from the app almost immediately was amazing! Dean was awesome and accommodated us so well on the day. His communication and grouping together of the staff in their teams was excellent given that there were 100 people all with hangovers! The whole experience was 10/10 thankyou! The buzz in the room following the activity was exactly the outcome that we were looking to achieve.
Thoroughly enjoyed our Bridging the Gap, it was a good ice-breaker particularly as there was a language/cultural difference.

Darren got everyone engaged and they all took part. Even the ‘head man’ who, because of their culture would normally stand back and let everyone else do the work. The temptation was too much and he joined in too – we even got a photo of him with the glue gun!
Service was superb from beginning to end, particularly as it was all done at such short notice and arranged ‘out of business hours’. Would always recommend you as team building facilitators of choice.
Unfortunately I was unable to attend the Adventure Quest on the day, but all reports that came back were very positive. Lots of the activities required participants to get well out of their comfort zone which can be scary but really rewarding, now we’ve discovered many hidden talents among our staff that we wouldn’t have before! This was also a great opportunity for us to get staff mingling with people in departments they wouldn’t normally spend much time with, a great bonding experience!
The co-ordination of the program was flawless, communication was great every step of the way and on the day instructions were easy to follow and well communicated.
Just another huge thank you to Louisa and the Total Team gang, you were willing to work with us to fit into our very limited budget which as an NFP is really encouraging and meant that we were able to put on a great day for our staff who work so hard. A superb level of professionalism and communication demonstrated from start to finish, just a great customer service experience!

We had fun during our Vault program and it made us work together with different people that we don’t usually work with closely.
The co-ordination was brilliant!
Darren was awesome, he had us engaged the whole time. It was a fantastic day, we all thought the adventure challenge was awesome that we did a couple of years ago, but the team say that this was better as we weren’t competing against each other, and that we had to work together to get the outcome.

They all reported that the Win it in a Minute was fun and in some cases – “Better than I thought it would be”.
The co-ordination was great, no problems. Always there and responded to emails and phone calls promptly. Nothing was too hard. The facilitators did a great job. It was very hot and they kept up their energy and stamina.
Our MD is thinking of doing it again mid-year as he was impressed. It helped unite all staff whether from production, warehouse, service or office. We got to spend time with others we don’t normally associate with from different branches and put “faces to names”.
Our Adventure Quest was great! The challenges were fun and interesting and catered to all ages/capabilities.
It was very well organised and co-ordinated. The app is super easy to use and information providing prior to the event was useful.
Katie was punctual! As soon as we had finished, we received a message and results.

The Program:
- The program was challenging as well as entertaining. The activities were certainly varied enough to challenge on several fronts while still allowing success and even a few laughs for all who participated.
- Venue was good and convenient but gave us the opportunity to “get remote” from the office so we could focus. Activities were simple to understand (some more complex than others to actually do) and provided a great opportunity to bond in our groups.
- Program was interesting and thus well received by participants.
- Well prepared event with a good selection of team participating activities.
- I really enjoyed it – it was a fantastic opportunity for me to know my team members better and see different side of them.
The Co-ordination:
- The co-ordination was well done and seemed quite well planned.

Our South32 team was very pleased with the whole Charity Bike Build program. We had a very cultural and age diverse group, however, everyone was able to participate in all activities which was great. “The Vault” team building activity was well facilitated and fun! Lots of interesting puzzles for the team – got us thinking and more importantly, got us to know one another a bit better as well! The facilitator was excellent to balance out the natural tension between ‘managing the session to a schedule’ (timing) and achieving the objectives of ‘team building and having fun’ (quality). For most of our employees our Charity Bike Build was the highlight of their day on Monday! Our management team were surprised by some people’s reaction to it (some introverts stepped in and took over the activity with the kids and not leaving them until they were almost on the bus). This gave us a window into some people that will help build more fulfilling relationships on site. The coordination from Total Team Building was very good, Katie and Darren did a lot of preparation and really listened and understood what we needed to get out of the event. The facilitation were very good as well. It was good that I could take part in the activity without having to worry about what needs to happen next. Thank you for a very well organized and facilitated event! It really hit the mark by giving our employees perspective and a way in which they could contribute to the community. These activities goes a long way in adding purpose to your job and feeling that you can make a difference even in a small way!

Our Charity Bike Build program was a rewarding experience, they were pleasantly surprised when the kids came to collect their bikes. Everyone had a great time and it definitely brought out the competitive nature of the team, we would definitely recommend this for a future event. The co-ordination was great, didn’t have to worry about anything. Darren was fantastic, he knew his stuff and made it really enjoyable for the team.
All of our participants commented on how much they enjoyed the “remotely managed” adventure quest – ALL OF THEM! It was tailored specifically to their needs and physical/psychological requirements; not too easy, not too hard, enjoyable and informative. The process from start to finish was smooth. From original enquiry handled by Katie through to program design and follow up with Darren and on the day logistics by Nicole – the whole team was friendly and professional in ensuring our quest was a success! We all really enjoyed the Vault program. It was great that we all got to work together on so many activities rather than be split into smaller groups. The linkages of the activities to communication and team work in the office taught us many useful lessons. The coordination of the event was wonderful. It was so smooth and easy for us to organise. Liaising with Katie was great. She was more than happy to answer all of our questions and accommodate us. Darren’s facilitation was very well done. He explained the tasks well beforehand and gave us good direction. We probably could have had a little more engagement and help from Darren when we were struggling but understand that working it out ourselves was the whole idea. Darren’s ‘debrief’ at the end was very good. It was really important to share what we had learnt with each other and also have him share his observations as well. Darren is a great communicator and the tasks were really fun and a great way to break the ice with each other (especially doing the leg tie one first).
Our team really enjoyed the day and all the different challenges leading up to the bike build. I think it was great how all the challenges gave the teams points so it wasn’t just based on the bike build. The event was very well coordinated by total team building, it all ran smoothly with no issues. We thought Darren was fantastic, he explained everything really well and it was easy to understand. He did it all with a smile also. I feel that your company did such a great job. From the moment I started speaking with Katie to try and get the event booked in, to the day of the event. Everything ran smoothly and everyone had fun whilst donating our bikes to a great cause. Well done Total Team Building!! It was really great day, we would definitely use your company again in future.
It was good to have an activity that everyone enjoyed and at the same time required everyone to collaborate together. The co-ordination of our Charity Bike Build was well organised and professionally done, the event went off without a hitch. Both facilitators were very engaging and humorous, plus entertaining. They were also very good with following up pre-event to make sure everything went off smoothly. Given that this was the first we had, we were quite impressed and would share this experience with other faculties/departments.

The team thoroughly enjoyed the indoor Amazing Race activity, thought it was fun and had some good laughs. It is something different to what you would normally have in a team building day. The co-ordination was excellent. Louisa was fantastic to work with. She ensured to get in contact with me with each planning step and was able to answer any of my questions. Jason was also great when he contacted me to confirm he plan of action and offered some suggestions. Overall it was excellent. Deryn was great! I can understand why this activity doesn’t necessarily need a facilitator however having Deryn there added to the experience. He would wonder around the groups laughing along with them. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I cannot thank you and the Total Team Building group enough. We cannot wait to have you back at our next building day.
Initially the team were a little skeptical and insisted they weren’t going to take it very seriously but once the bandanas were on things got much much more serious! The facilitators were very good at holding our attention and instructions were clear. We didn’t feel rushed for time and despite the competitive atmosphere amongst the teams, it was actually a very relaxed day. The coordination with the office gave me piece of mind that everyone was going to be exactly where they needed to be on the day but having mobile numbers just in case was a relief (particularly for our caterer who got lost, – a big thank you to Darren for helping her find the right spot). Your team were outstanding! A great level of professionalism, engagement and interaction with the team and within 5 minutes we were amazed at how they all jumped in and were a part of what was going on. Our theme for the day was ‘Team”, Darren and his team demonstrated both by their actions and the events they put on exactly what we wanted, working together, sharing a common goal and striving to achieve is what we can do and in fact did on the day! We had so much fun on Friday. I don’t think any of us stopped laughing all day! Just what we needed from a day out of the office. Darren & Nicole were fantastic – great coordination of a rowdy team, and seemed to enjoy themselves too in the process. The day was everything we wanted & more – couldn’t be happier with how it went. Everyone was a little unsure what to expect about the day… but by the end of it everyone was commenting that they had a great day and it was one of the best Christmas Party’s we have had. Awesome job by the facilitators, very professional & helpful with all the tasks. We had a great time.
Thanks Jason for a great team building activity. I enjoyed being able to view my VCAL Senior students work in an environment outside of the classroom. I observed skills, strengths and unfortunately weaknesses in my students that I may not have had the opportunity to view otherwise. It has provided me with a greater appreciation of their capacity to work together to complete our classroom and community projects. The students certainly rose to the challenge. You and your team were well organised and effectively managed the running of the program in a school setting.
The Treasure Hunt activity was a lot of fun, it was really inclusive and it highlighted different strengths and abilities of all the team members.
